Ravi qualified in Dentistry from the University of Liverpool in 1999, gaining the Walter Thomas prize in Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery as well as the Chrstopher Bushell Scholarship. He also gained an honours degree from the University of Liverpool in Pharmacology in 1994. Ravi initially pursued a hospital career which culminated in gaining Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Ravi went on to work in general practice whilst still practicing in hospital and developed his interests in Orthodontics (using cosmetic methods such as Invisalign or fixed appliances to improve the positions of teeth), Endodontics (root canal treatment), Cosmetic Dentistry and treating anxious patients. Ravi is able to relieve any anxiety to treatment felt by the patient with either Intravenous or Oral Sedation and is qualified to teach Intravenous Sedation to his dental colleagues. Ravi is now in the process of completing a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry with Special Interest in Endodontics and Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Working with colleagues from the Royal College has developed his interest in digital dentistry which he utilises in his practice of Orthodontics and Restorative dentistry.

Ravi is an accredited Dentist with Specialist Interest in Orthodontics. He currently works as a Speciality Doctor in Orthodontics at Wrexham Maelor Hospital (and previously at Warrington and St Helens Hospital where he worked alongside Dr Ian Edwards (Consultant in Orthodontics) who also works with Ravi in practice).
