NHS Fees

NHS Fees

  • If you are exempt from NHS dental charges, you will receive free treatment and care.
  • If you pay for NHS dental treatment, there are three bands of charges.
  • You pay one charge even if you visit more than once to complete a course of treatment.
  • The amount you pay will depend on the treatment you need.

BAND 1 – £14.30

This includes routine examinations, diagnosis and preventative care such as fluoride application. It also includes a scale (if clinically necessary), x-rays and planning for further treatment. This band covers emergency appointments which may include pain relief and temporary dressings.

BAND 2 – £46.00

This includes all necessary treatment covered by the £14.30 charge PLUS additional treatment such as fillings, root canal treatment, extractions, periodontal (gum) treatment and additions to dentures.

BAND 3 – £199.10

This charge includes all necessary treatment covered by the £14.30 and £46.00 PLUS crowns, dentures, bridges, onlays and inlays.

Full Care Plan

from £15.50 per month depending on your current oral health
  • • All dental treatments included (excluding cosmetic treatment and laboratory costs)
  • • Inclusive of Dental Hygiene visits
